Field Constructions

A series of monotypes produced from 2012-2014, investigating the interaction between flat areas of color and atmospheric space. The prints draw inspiration from nature and topography, utilizing both control and chance throughout the process. The title reflects an influence from both Color Field painters and Constructivist art.
